About The Process

Black Eyed Susans - by Rob WadeArchival Printing, also called Giclee Prints, are made with an Epson ultra high resolution fine art printer, using the very finest Epson Ultrachome archival inks and Hahnemulhe acid free papers. The printing process was born in the early 1990's by Graham Nash of the group Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Since this early beginning, the technology, equipment, media, inks and craftsmanship have advanced immeasurably. The quality of the archival print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries. Numerous examples of archival prints can be found in New York City at the Metropolitan Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Chelsea Galleries. As well a many galleries world wide.
